“Each trading day around 4:30pm Liverpool time, our team participates in a conference call with the Memphis office. Around that time, our day is beginning to wind down but the New York cotton market is just opening. We use the telephone meeting to tell our counterparts in America what our activities have been for the day and to alert them to any unfinished business or opportunities we’ve developed.”
